Customer Support & Training Engineer

The Customer Support & Training Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to SafeFleet System users, answer questions or resolve problems related to SafeFleet products for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the after sales support to clients, dealers and installers that use the company systems and products
  • Utilizes the support issue ticketing system, helps customers, dealers and intallers through email, online chat and on the phone
  • Reviews product returns, repairs and analysis
  • IT and Network Support if needed
  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems of SafeFleet products and services
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
  • Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors
  • Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of SafeFleet products
  • Writes detailed bug reports for development team, when such a bug is detected or reported by a customer

Key requirements:

  • Have experience in working with GPS Tracking Solutions
  • Good understanding of automotive electric system and Ohm’s law
  • Bachelors degree or Demonstrated skills that can make up for education level
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
  • Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively
  • English is a must
